Five on Friday is a roundup of new research, articles, resources, and more on health justice and migrant health that our MCN team recommends. Here’s this week’s edition:
Amy shared Earth Island Journal’s “Nature Is Trying to Tell Us Something [2],” which looks at how one physician is trying to “bridge the gap between medicine and the environment.”
Claire recommended the new COVID-19 Testing Communications and Community Engagement Toolkit [3], which looks ahead to encourage community members to participate in asymptomatic testing.
Del forwarded this interesting graphic from the CDC’s latest MMWR [4], “COVID-19 Stats: COVID-19 Incidence, by Urban-Rural Classification— United States, January 22–October 31, 2020.”
Kaethe sent along two reports on children during the pandemic, “The State of Young People During COVID-19 [5],” a report from America’s Promise Alliance, and “Children and COVID-19: State Data Report [6],” a weekly report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association.
Weekly Win: Kaethe shared “Fast Tests for COVID-19 Are Coming [7],” from the Economist. We can’t wait!
Have a safe and healthy weekend.
