In response to the recommendations from the LA County Department of Public Health's Office of Women's Health 2007 Summit on Women's Health, reproductive health and the environment was determined to be a priority issue to address. Two subsequent events were held which identified the areas of policy, advocacy, and research as being the focus areas. This upcoming event further addresses the Summit recommendations by highlighting best practices in community advocacy initiatives, policy recommendations, and research studies.The attached flyer lists the speakers and workshops for the event.
