Who is Required to Report?: Physicians, Hospitals, Laboratories, Other health professionals.

Physicians should report pesticide exposures to their local health office and/or can use the form found at the above link to report suspected exposures.

Coverage for Farm Workers: Required (with limitations)
Limitations: Employers that have fewer than 3 full-time employees or an annual payroll of less than $15,000 for full-time employees do not have to provide workers' compensation. Independent contractors, other than migrant workers, do not have coverage.

Coverage for Undocumented Workers: Yes
Case Law: Design Kitchen & Baths v. Lagos, 882 A.2d 817 (Md. 2005) (finding that workers' compensation statute encompasses undocumented workers and that the legislative history established a clear intent to cover unlawful workers).
Benefits Available for Undocumented Workers: Undocumented workers are eligible for temporary total disability benefits. See Design Kitchen & Baths v. Lagos, 882 A.2d 817, 820, 830 (Md. 2005).
