How Many? Quantifying MCN’s Impact

Printer-friendly version

Pages from MCN's year in review 2017

How many times a year does Migrant Clinicians Network provide expert on-site and distance technical assistance? How many mobile patients were provided with bridge case management through Health Network? What percentage of MCN training participants found the information provided useful to their work? The MCN blog has dozens of stories, case studies, and in-the-field updates to demonstrate the breadth and timeliness of our work, but sometimes hard facts and figures help to round out those stories to show a full picture of MCN’s impact to best equip clinicians serving mobile patients and assure health justice for the mobile poor.

This week, we released our 2017 Year in Review, where we quantified our impact in several key areas, including through our technical assistance efforts, Health Network, clinician education, worker health, and more. Here are a few highlights:

  • 7,067 Patient contacts by Health Network to receive bridge case management while they were on the move.
  • 4,419 Clinical Resources distributed through our Centers of Excellence program to better worker health.
  • 156,000 Resources downloaded from our website.
  • 95 percent of MCN's budget goes directly toward our programs -- with just 5 percent spent on fundraising and administration.

We are proud of our work and we’re thrilled to share the impact with you. We hope you will continue to turn to us for resources and share our work with colleagues -- and we ask for your support to assure we can continue to provide the highest quality services and resources to you. Please make a donation to MCN, and make a lasting impact in our fight for health justice for the mobile poor.
