Almost 100,000 technical assistance encounters; 1,764 continuing education hours; a fifty percent increase in usage of Health Network by community health centers: In 2018, Migrant Clinicians Network made significant strides in our efforts to secure health justice for the mobile poor.
Last month, we released our Year in Review, which covers some of our accomplishments via facts and figures. While the numbers tell just part of our story, this two-page document gives us an bright snapshot of this defining moment in MCN’s efforts for health justice and health equity -- and the defining moment in history in which we find ourselves. More than ever, as immigration continues to dominate news headlines and climate change amplifies the vulnerability of millions across the world, our efforts in migration health are indispensable. Our Year in Review details our efforts in climate change and community mobilization; border health needs; worker health and safety; and continuity of care through Health Network.
Help us continue the momentum: Donate to MCN, share our work with your colleagues and friends, and follow us on social media. Thank you for your support for health justice.
