Let’s admit it: This week was tough. Migration health continues to dominate the news cycle, with border health, public charge, and racism at the forefront. Our Five on Friday this week, composed of recommended reads from MCN staff, covers some of these concerns -- but we know there’s good news out there, too. Bonus Weekly Win: Amy shared this Washington Post analysis of three new polls that show that the US public still has largely positive views of immigrants. There is even a growing portion saying we should accept Central American refugees: “The Daily 202: New polls identify fault lines inside the GOP over Trump’s immigration agenda and treatment of asylum seekers.
