Bio:

Hannah Lawrence is the Resource Coordinator for the Spanish First Helpline Project at Migrant Clinicians Network. In this position, she works in partnership with FarmAid and Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network - Northeast to expand access to mental health resources for migrant farmworkers. She originally joined the MCN team as a Master of Social Work Intern with the Health Network Team, where she coordinated social services for Health Network clients. She is currently in her second year of the University of Texas at Austin’s Master’s in Social Work program. Before joining the MCN team, Lawrence managed programs at several social service agencies including a shelter for youth experiencing homelessness and a case management and food pantry in El Paso, Texas. Lawrence is passionate about achieving mutual liberation for all people through increasing access to equitable mental health and social services. She is especially interested in working with people who are migrating, in their perinatal experience, and unhoused populations. Her community work is centered at this intersection, and incorporates her love for nature. She has taught ESL classes to asylum seekers, worked at a farm managed by refugees, and advocated for detained migrants.
