Migrant Clinicians Network is a national nonprofit organization that creates practical solutions at the intersection of vulnerability, migration, and health. Through clinician continuing education, worker health and safety training, community outreach programs, resource development, and advocacy, MCN seeks to ensure access to quality health care and reduce disparities for immigrant workers, farmworkers and their families and other underserved populations.

Seguridad en las lecherías is a health and safety intervention for immigrant workers in dairy. This project utilizes worker training and Community Health Workers to reduce worksite hazards and to improve worker knowledge and practices. The five-module, bilingual health and safety training curriculum includes background sections on each topic, evaluation tools, and a step-by-step facilitator guide with visuals either in the form a power point slide presentation or a flip chart. This project is a partnership between MCN, the Upper Midwest Agricultural Safety and Health Center and the National Farm Medicine Center.
A Roadmap for Delivering Child Care in Agricultural Communities

Drawing input from agricultural business owners, human resources directors, insurance providers, Head Start child care specialists, and farmworker parents, this workbook acts as a roadmap with steps that lead business owners to establishing accessible child care for their employees. By identifying challenges and overcoming barriers for farmworkers, this resource guides businesses to implement the services needed to cultivate their growing community. This project is partnership between MCN and the National Children’s Center for Rural Agricultural Health and Safety.
Health and Safety Curriculum and Resources for Community Health Workers

This curriculum to educate community health workers on ways to minimize risks from agricultural hazards among farmworker families. Included is a detailed guide to help CHWs introduce and teach parents relevant messages geared towards adult learners. Also included are resources for CHWs to distribute to parents to help reinforce safety measures and culturally appropriate evaluation tools to help measure impact.
Juan Abre los Ojos
This comic book details how farmworkers can protect themselves from pesticide overexposure under the Worker Protection Standard (WPS). It is part of an EPA-approved curriculum that to train workers as required by the WPS. The curriculum includes a bilingual facilitators guide, a power point slide presentation or print ready flip chart.
