MCN Comic: Working with farm animals: Keeping Yourself, Your Family, and Your Community Healthy

Printer-friendly version

mcn Mosquitoes — and diseases like Zika — flourish when economies tank

Today, Migrant Clinicians Network is proud to release the new comic book, Working with farm animals: Keeping Yourself, Your Family, and Your Community Healthy, offered in English and in Spanish. This comic book delves into the causes and symptoms of zoonotic diseases, and depicts ways that workers can protect themselves, their loved ones, and their local community. The new resource is the result of a partnership between Migrant Clinicians Network and The Ohio State University, with support from the United States Department of Agriculture.

We have a limited number of printed copies available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Note: The in-print comic books are only available in Spanish. Order your copies today!

We want to make sure that this resource is available for workers across the country who can benefit from its message. To that end, the comic book is also available to download for free, in English and in Spanish.

For more information on this project, please contact Juliana Simmons, MSPH, CHES, Environmental and Occupational Health Program Manager for MCN, at jsimmons@migrantclinician.org.
