Perspectives on Partnerships in TB Control

The Curry International TB Center is pleased to announce an upcoming training that will be conducted in association with the California TB Controllers Association (CTCA) educational conference. The one-day training on Perspectives on Partnerships in TB Control will take place in San Jose, CA on Friday, May 31, 2013. The format will include case-based and didactic sessions.
Training Goals:
- Discuss case management challenges and solutions with a multi-disciplinary panel for a public/private co-managed MDR-TB Case in Santa Clara County
- Outline lessons learned and best practices around management of TB outbreaks in homeless populations
- Discuss the impact of social determinants of health on at-risk populations
This training is intended for physicians, nurses, TB program managers, and other licensed medical care providers who manage TB patients with or at-risk for TB.
