The Curry International TB Center is pleased to announce an upcoming training that will be conducted in association with the California TB Controllers Association (CTCA) educational conference. The one-day training on Perspectives on Partnerships in TB Control will take place in San Jose, CA on Friday, May 31, 2013. The format will include case-based and didactic sessions.

Training Goals:

• Discuss case management challenges and solutions with a multi-disciplinary panel for a public/private co-managed MDR-TB Case in Santa Clara County
• Outline lessons learned and best practices around management of TB outbreaks in homeless populations
• Discuss the impact of social determinants of health on at-risk populations

This training is intended for physicians, nurses, TB program managers, and other licensed medical care providers who manage TB patients with or at-risk for TB.
