"Join the National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) and a group of experts in diabetic eye disease for the webinar,Straight Talk: Diabetic Eye Disease in Our Communities.The webinar will feature the short film, “Vision Voice,” produced by Mount Sinai Diabetes Center in New York, which showcases the daily life of three Hispanics/Latinas in Harlem who are living with diabetic eye disease. The film shows how the women’s lives have changed because they were unaware of the consequences of ignoring their eye health."

Agromedicine Workshop: 10 hour Training Presented by University of Texas Health Northeast
The University of Texas Health Northeast will present the10-hour training program in Agromedicine! Hundreds of rural physicians, veterinarians and healthcare professionals have attended this training program over the last 40 years. Originally developed by Iowa's Center for Agricultural Safety and Health (I-CASH), it has been enhanced to reflect the distinct essence of Texas and taught by regional faculty, as well as the program's pioneer, Dr. Kelley Donham.
