Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher - and that's where the Cleaning for A Reason Foundation steps in. This nonprofit offers free professional housecleaning, and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer - any type of cancer.

The first website in Spanish of its kind to help consumers take control of their health care by connecting them to new information and resources that will help them access quality, affordable health care coverage. President Obama wrote an op-ed in La Opinion and El Diario La Prensa today that highlights the website and the importance of health reform to the Latino community.
Easter Seals
Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals. Easter Seals helps provide free wheelchairs and other medical related equipment, like walkers, commodes, bathtub rails, bathtub chairs, crutches, transfer benches, electric wheelchairs and scooters, on a short- or long-term basis. Some programs require deposits that are completely refundable.
Food Stamp Program
The Food Stamp Program serves as the first line of defense against hunger. It enables low-income families to buy nutritious food with Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards. Food stamp recipients spend their benefits to buy eligible food in authorized retail food stores. Go to find local food stamp and search by state.
Georgia Cares
Georgia Partnership for Caring Foundation (GPCF) is a private, non-profit organization comprised of health care providers who donate their time and products to provide non-emergency health care services for Georgia's low-income uninsured persons who are living below the federal poverty level.
