Recently in the UK, there has been research supporting midwifery care. Due to this research, the UK has made some policy changes in regards to maternity. Midwifery care has been shown to be more safe for women with uncomplicated pregnancies and because of these new policies, the United States may follow in their footsteps.

How to prepare for a HIPAA audit
Many Eligible Providers who received Meaningful Use incentive fundings have failed their audits primarily in the privacy and security measures and have been required to return incentive funds. Health centers and their business associates have put privacy and security aside (especially encryption, BYOD policies, and review/update of risk assessment). FHN Key Resources for Migrant Health
The Farmworker Health Network (FHN) is comprised of six National Cooperative Agreements in migrant health funded through the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide training and technical assistance to current and potential Migrant Health Center Programs. The FHN is committed to supporting the development of leadership within Community and Migrant Health Centers and increasing access to care for the farmworker population.
