Felton National Tuberculosis Center, is designed for training treatment adherence supporters. Background information on approaches to adult education and evaluation, as well as suggestions for pre-training preparation, are provided for planning and implementing a training course.
Disparities Solutions Center Archived Web Seminars
The Disparities Solutions Center is committed to disseminating the latest information on disparities interventions, findings from important disparities research and health policy updates regarding disparities reduction efforts. In order to disseminate this information to the broadest possible audience in a stimulating and interactive manner, the DSC will host several web seminars each year. The Commonwealth Fund
The Commonwealth Fund/Harvard University Fellowship in Minority Health Policy is a one-year, full-time, academic degree-granting program designed to create physician-leaders, particularly minority physician-leaders, who will pursue careers in health policy, public health practice, and academia.
HPV Vaccine - Questions & Answers For The Public
Gardasil® is the first vaccine developed to prevent cervical cancer and genital warts caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). In June 2006, Gardasil® was licensed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the FDA monitor the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.

Current News is our focus for March and April. The Surveillance Summary for Acute Viral Hepatitis released in March indicates declining rates of all three common types of Hepatitis, A, B. and C. Underlying the good news is the continuing importance of making sure that adults, especially in segments of the population still living outside of the reach of most health care systems, are screened, offered B vaccination, educated about risks, and tested as necessary.
