Ken Mayer, MD, a leading expert in HIV/AIDS research and practice will discussusing recent HIV prevention innovations in primary care settings. Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) will be discussed.

This program will review HIV epidemiology, and discuss elements of evidence based HIV prevention in patient centered medical homes and other primary care programs. Faculty will be Kevin Ard, MD, MPH, Infectious Disease Fellow, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital; and Harvey J. Makadon, MD.  

This webinar will provide an overview of LGBT health disparities, demographics, and terminology, as well as key strategies for bringing high quality care to LGBT people.  Participants will also learn about the intersections of LGBT health, population health and patient centered medical homes.
