2019 marks the 35th anniversary of Migrant Clinicians Network. Since first embarking on this road to empower clinicians serving migrants in 1984, MCN has pushed for health justice throughout the US and beyond. From our innovative and life-saving virtual case management system, Health Network, to powerful and popular ECHO projects, in-person trainings, and webinars, MCN has brought practical solutions at the intersection of vulnerability, migration, and health. Let’s celebrate! Each and every one of you -- fellow clinicians, supporters, advocates, and patients -- have played a critical role in ensuring MCN’s ongoing and remarkable success!
We’re taking a moment to reflect on where we’ve been… and imagining where we’re going next. Starting this month, we’re launching a few short videos on our MCN journey, featuring MCN’s long-time and hard-working leaders. In this video, MCN’s Chief Executive Officer, Karen Mountain, MBA, MSN, RN, celebrates MCN’s 35 years, and imagines where we’re going next. How has MCN touched your life? How has our work empowered you to better serve your patients? Where is MCN going next? Join us in celebrating MCN on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #MCNat35, and tell us your stories!
