We made it to Friday after another very full week here at Migrant Clinicians Network! Here are this week’s five articles on health topics of interest that we thought you’d enjoy, chosen by MCN staff members.
Alma in Massachusetts forward the Nature Medicine journal article, “Anomalously Warm Temperatures Are Associated With Increased Injury Deaths.”
Alma also sent along, “Trump administration to collect DNA data from some migrants in custody.”
Del sent around the disturbing Washington Post article, “The US is Putting Asylum Seekers on Planes to Guatemala — Often Without Telling Them Where They’re Going.”
Amy also shared, “Migrant child died after release from detention, attorneys group alleges.”
Amy sent the ProPublica piece, “Six Children Died in Border Patrol Care. Democrats in Congress Want to Know Why.”
Jess shared a piece on the rise in clinician burnout, “HRSA Expert Warns of Clinician Burnout.”
Have a safe and healthy weekend.
