MSF Live Webcast Series Part 2 - The Global Refugee Crisis: Humanitarian Needs and International Policy
This fall, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) will webcast a series of discussions related to Forced From Home, MSF's new immersive, traveling exhibition designed to raise public awareness of the world’s 65 million displaced people. This second webcast of the series will take place Wednesday, September 21. DESCRIPTION: With journalist Ann Curry moderating, Karen Koning AbuZayd, special advisor to the UN Summit on Migrants and Refugees; Jason Cone, executive director of MSF-USA; and Hans Van de Weerd, the International Rescue Committee’s deputy director of US programs, will discuss the solutions being offered for resolving the global refugee crisis, and the many challenges ahead for people who, through no fault of their own, have been forced from home.
