Curry International Tuberculosis Center is one of four Regional Training And Medical Consultation Centers (RTMCCs) partnering to conduct a clinical training in association with next year’s International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease—North America Region (IUATLD-NAR) conference in San Antonio. 

Dates: December 5-7

This program will provide key principles and techniques necessary to develop and maintain a sustainable laboratory or high-tech facility. Topics ranging from the architecture of high-performance laboratories, to the energy-efficient design process, to tips for laboratory users are taught by seasoned laboratory designers, energy managers, and facilities professionals with a multi-stakeholder approach to lab design.

Deaths from prescription painkillers have reached epidemic levels in the past decade. States vary greatly in terms of drug overdose deaths, rates of nonmedical use of prescription painkillers, and sales to pharmacies and other outlets. This teleconference will feature lessons learned from the state, tribal, local or territorial perspective. Join the conversation!
