MCN Five on Friday Person in detention

This week’s articles shared by those in the MCN offices continued to be dominated by news and views of the immigrant separation and detention crisis at the border. MCN recognizes that many immigrants in detention lack the essential health care they need to address urgent health concerns. MCN’s new initiative Medical Review for Immigrants seeks to get those with urgent health needs out of detention and into care. Can you help us spread the word? Learn more, donate, and -- this is critical for us to reach our goal to launch this program -- share the campaign: https://hipgive.org/project/mri-medical-review-for-immigrants/. Thank you for your support. Here are the five recommended reads for this week, from MCN staff.
