Five on Friday: Challenging Inadequate Health Care

Printer-friendly version

MCN Five on Friday MRI

Medical Review for Immigrants, MCN’s new initiative, has hit the ground running -- thanks to our generous and conscientious supporters. The new initiative brings together volunteer clinicians and pro-bono attorneys to help immigrants with urgent health needs get out of detention and into the care they need. We have had an uplifting response from our clinical network with dozens of clinicians stepping up to help immigrants apply for humanitarian parole. In just two short weeks, we also managed to hit our fundraising goal to help launch the effort. Now, we’re already working with immigrants who need this indispensable service. Stay tuned for more updates. In the meantime, please continue to share and support this important initiative by learning more and donating here.
