Worker Protection Standard

Support stronger protections for farmworkers to lessen their exposure to pesticides.  Add your name to MCN's National Clinician Sign-On Letter to endorse many aspects of the proposed rule that foster imporved worker health and safety and to call for additional, stronger safeguards to better protect farmworkers.  Help us reach our goal of 3,000 clinician signatures by August 18, 2014.

Children Crossing the Border

The Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN) holds the position that immigrant children fleeing violence in their home countries must receive priority consideration for their safety and health. In our current advocacy statement, MCN states:We support the humane treatment of immigrant, migrant, and undocumented populations being held in detention; specifically, the provision of basic and necessary health care needs that prevents the endangerment and loss of life.

MCN's Advocacy Agenda 2013-2014

Migrant Clinicians Network, Inc. (MCN) will work during the next two years to engage members of our clinical network and all relevant stakeholders to advance health justice for the mobile poor. Our advocacy and education priorities focus on safe and legal entry into the United States, as well as strong and equal protection for workers in all occupations. Advancement in these areas creates the greatest opportunity for all to access high-quality, affordable healthcare.
