MCNA Dental’s goal is to identify individuals of migrant farm workers and educate families about medical and dental checkups available to them before their parents travel for work. I am not a health care provider, but I work for the MO Primary Care Assn and provide T/TA for Missouri's 27 Federally Qualified Health Centers, including training on outreach, cultural competency and health literacy. We have only one Migrant Health Center, but have many Centers that provide care for migrant workers and their families working in Missouri's cotton fields and orchards. I have a Master of Public Administration degree (emphasis on health care policy)and almost 30 years working in various positions in the health care field. Thank you...
